Description & Requirements
As part of Kraft Heinz enterprise-wide technology transformation- we are transitioning to a cloud-based ecosystem to help us accelerate our speed to value and deliver on our promise to adapt more quickly to the evolving needs of our stakeholders comprising multiple segments.
Looking for a Cloud Transformation lead who is expert in cloud technologies to join forces to help us transform and modernize the Kraft Heinz assets with cloud and platform centric solutions. This role requires a heavy collaboration with several application teams on the asset prioritization- cloud foundation capabilities and several other teams in Kraft Heinz to help deliver on the promise of transformation.
This key role requires active partnership with several IT- Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Center of Excellence- various Modernization teams to help establish the application roadmaps for cloud modernization to meet with the futuristic demands of the Kraft Heinz organization.
The candidate must have hands-on cloud knowledge to help provide guidance to the teams and contribute to Cloud COE through patterns- practices- standards and play/run books and so forth.
The candidate needs to be able to switch gears between hands-on & hands-off approach as needed without getting lost into the details to help drive the transformation. Candidate is expected to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision.
The Cloud Transformation Lead reports to the Head of Cloud Engineering and works closely with various stakeholders to plan and lead transformations of applications & IT infrastructure- to drive business outcomes leveraging next-gen IT models and agile- scalable architectures that meet the need of today’s corporate and digital applications.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Cloud Transformation lead- you will work directly with stakeholders from across our portfolios formulating all aspects of solution approaches and development
You will be accountable for and apply proven expertise of application modernization- cloud architecture- intelligent automation and innovation thereby contributing to a high level of Client satisfaction
Your expertise in application design and development- cloud-native development- IoT- data analytics- security- Agile- continuous deployment- automated testing and DevOps will be instrumental in enabling our client to achieve their objectives
You will bring lessons learned and expertise from leading successful custom development of open source-based applications in the cloud
You will represent Kraft Heinz Cloud COE as a thought leader formulating solution approaches and strategies and be the technical expert supporting various transformation initiatives
You will help Kraft Heinz teams to kick-off complex engagements successfully and interject when issues arise during implementation activities
As a senior member of the Technology & Engineering team- you will mentor other members and help in their career aspirations
Qualifications
A total of 12+ years of Information Technology experience with minimally 8 years’ hands on experience in one or more architecture design domains (e.g. solutions architecture- application architecture- design and development)
Experience in working closely with business- technical leads- engineering teams and architecture stakeholders for developing technical roadmaps and architecture framework capabilities for use by other development teams
Hold advanced certifications with at least one cloud service provider
Strong technical presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way
Advanced knowledge and experience in one or more current programming languages (E.g.- C#- Java- JavaScript- Python)
Expertise in Microservices architecture- building Serverless applications
Experience planning and executing large scale projects effort- resources and associated incremental phased approach
Experience establishing legacy modernization and migration roadmaps for large scale applications
Experience with event-driven applications using queues- service bus and other related patterns
Experience implementing solutions that leverages Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Experience working in an end-to-end enterprise DevOps environment leveraging Containerization- Infrastructure and Configuration as a code- Kubernetes- CI/CD pipeline
Knowledge of the Agile methodology
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering- Science- Mathematics or Information/Computer related field
Domain Expertise
3+ years of working experience in Retail & CPG industry
Experiences
Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams
Expertise architecting cloud solutions leveraging one of the public cloud providers (preferred Microsoft Azure)
