Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Execute various Engineering tasks associated with Basic and Detailed engineering phases of projects that are part of various industry like Mining & Natural Resources, EIP (Energy, Industrial and Plant Engineering)
Overall we are looking for 8 – 10 years of experience in Electrical and Control
Work closely with Asset Management teams to drive improvement work, provide technical support and identify replication opportunities
Work closely with major and sustaining capital projects, providing technical assurance and governance
Good understanding and experience with Plant Metering and Control philosophy
Experience in Protection study, Load flow analysis, Functional Safety Design.
Preparation of Electrical Equipment Specifications and Data Sheets.
Preparation of Electrical equipment layouts
Understanding and preparation of various schematics and wiring diagrams.
Working on electrical design of control panels, cables and connection boxes.
Preparation of General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Panel Component Layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD),Cable Tray, Busduct, Lighting, Grounding & Lightening protection layouts, design of cathode protection systems using 2d/3D tools.
Coordinate and monitor support from key vendors
Undertake root cause analysis on significant failures on electrical assets
Identify appropriate technical solutions for complex plant/mine electrical engineering problems/designs and reliability issues by application of industry standards and innovation
Ensuring Electrical Engineering coordination with stake holders
Problem solving
Mandatory skills :
Experience across the asset life cycle, including design, specification, installation, commissioning, preventative and breakdown maintenance
Proven RCA and problem-solving techniques
Current knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Excellent networking and communication skills
Working knowledge of PowerFactory/ETAP
Working Knowledge of MS office
Desired skills:
Familiarity with HMI systems, SCADA & PLC’s
Functional Safety knowledge
Working knowledge of SAP
Skills & Experience
Electrical and Electronics Engineering., Electrical AutoCAD, Electrical Power Distribution, Schematic Design
