Job Description : The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
Interacting with Business analysts to understand the requirements behind BRDs/FRDs/SRs.
Complete understanding of application code through code compilation, code walkthrough, execution flow, overall design.
Local compilation, deployment and behaviour/Unit testing
Identifying the areas where code needs to change for meeting the required functionalities and maintain traceability
Participate in design review/ code review meetings- local/global
Unit testing, Integration testing, UAT/SIT support
Code check in, check out, merge, build management as needed
Qualifications:
At least 6 to 8 years of Application development experience through full lifecycle.
The primary area of Experience with Python based Application development with complete command over OOPs and Design Patterns.
He should have Thorough knowledge and hands on experience in following technologies Hadoop, Map Reduce Framework, Hive, Spark, YARN, Unix, Java, Sqoop. Cloudera certification (CCDH) is an added advantage.
He should have implemented or part complex project execution in Big Data Spark eco system, where processing volumes of data thorough understanding of distributed processing and integrated applications.
Exposure to ETL and BI tools will be good.
Education:
B. Tech from a top engineering college, University, preferably in computer science. Other preferred branches are EE, ECE. Candidates with passion for coding and systems development from other disciplines also can apply.
Work experience in a product company is an added advantage.
