General Description:
Looking for a hands-on candidate with experience in Android system and application experience, along with strong Java programming skills. The candidate should possess good communication skills and be a Team Player who is flexible to take up new activities and work independently.
Overall industry experience 7+ years.
Major duties to be performed:
Able to do design, Development, Testing.
Able to troubleshoot issues and fix them
Work as an individual contributor for various Customer releases
Able to work in a team
Take up ownership and drive work to closure
Communicate and Share knowledge with wider team
Mandatory Skills, Education and Experience:
BE/BTech/ME/M Tech in ECE/CS with 7+ years of related industry experience developing embedded system software.
Experience in building product quality android applications
Experience in Kotlin and Java programming
Good knowledge in Android application Architecture, aidl and hidl
Good exposure to Android build system (Android.bp, Android.mk)
Good exposure to Gradle build tool
Good exposure to Androidx libraries
Working with Camera, Network and Bluetooth applications are added advantage
Working experience with Agile methodologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming and trouble shooting skills required
Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
Must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously in large teams across geographies.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:
Strong working experience on Camera technology, Video conferencing, will be plus
HDMI, WIFI USB working knowledge
Development experience on Voice support
Hands on experience on integration of CPEs to Google and AWS infrastructure.
Integration of health care sensors to the embedded devices
Strong working experience on QualComm SoC software component Integration will be plus.
Working experience with scripting languages (Python, Java Script, Perl, etc.) will be plus
