Job Description : What you will be responsible for: A ‘Server Administrator II, DC Operations’ is a young member of our IT Infrastructure team. As an engineer you will install, manage and secure Linux, Web, Application servers and Databases. Your work output will enable DevOps engineers to create and automate DevOps pipelines of software products other development teams to integrate, test, package, deliver and deploy their software systems which enable online bookings, payment transactions and personalized messaging to millions of customers who book their travel with Yatra.com. This career establishing role exposes you to complex technologies, scripting skills, security tools as well as some DevOps and SRE practices. In general, you will be part of IT Infrastructure team which is responsible for creating paths for DevOps engineers and developer to a certain runtime environment. Alongwith, the role also requires very good analytical skills, ability to debug problems in an existing systems and work with other team members in a collaborative environment. Profile What you need to succeed in the role: Working on ways to automate and improve system maintenance processes. Deliver the vision of 100% uptime in close collaboration with Devops and development teams. Ensure compliance of linux environments from regulatory and security requirements Following a governance model to prohibit misuse or abuse of cloud resources, avoiding over provisioning, implementation of code based infrastructure management. Troubleshoots problems associated with assigned server, operating systems, and application software. Staying abreast of new trends in Technology; work closely with both DevOps teams and SRE teams to come up with best mechanisms for a friction-free developer experience.
