Job Description:
Determining the structure and design of web pages.
Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
Developing features to enhance the user experience.
Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
Building reusable code for future use.
Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Requirements:
At least 2+ years of industry experience in front-end web development
Proficiency with HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Bootstrap & Material UI.
Proficiency with Laraval would be ideal bot not required.
Experience with WordPress, Shopify and other content management systems.
Responsive website development experience.
Website speed optimization
Sound knowledge of theme and plugin development in WordPress
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop and process PSDs.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work on a cross-functional collaborative web development team.
Ability to take on project from start to end.
Strong communication skills, work ethic and personal task management skills
Experience with speed/performance testing and optimizing websites and pages for speed.
Experience of working on the tools: NPM, GIT, JIRA, SVN
Ability to write unit and integration tests
Experience with Web Frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter
Knowledge of working with e-commerce systems.
Have sound knowledge of Angular &/or React
Hands-on experience on integrating backend APIs with front-end.
