Job Description : ResponsibilitiesManipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audienceTake a brief to grasp Social Marketing team’s needs and specificationsReview script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuityTrim footage segments and put together the sequence of the filmInput music, dialogues, graphics and effectsCreate rough and final cutsEnsure logical sequencing and smooth runningConsult with stakeholders from production to post-production processContinuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.RequirementsProven work experience as a Video EditorSolid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolioThorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuityFamiliarity with special effects, 3D and compositingCreative mind and storytelling skillsBS degree in film studies, cinematography or related fieldJob Type: Full-timePay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per monthEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Video Editing: 3 years (Required)total work: 4 years (Preferred)Video Production: 3 years (Preferred)Work Remotely:Yes
