Job Description : Hiring Legal Counsel for a US Healthcare Company
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a healthcare company based in Florida, USA. We provide outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment in the state of Florida, USA through networks of clinics and online telehealth platform. We have high quality of mental health professionals in our team including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychotherapist, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, among others Our providers and medical team prioritise patient care and are well supported by warm and high-quality staff.
We have contracted a company base in Hyderabad, India, Harmony United Medsolutions, PVT. LTD. to provide assistance in the different aspect of operations of our company in the USA. We are currently looking to hire a highly competent Legal Counsel to head our Legal, Compliance and Risk Management Department.
Qualifications:
Law Degree (LL. B/LL.M) from reputed law universities. You must have completed your law education from the TOP 50 law colleges in India.
Law College/University after clearing Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) only are eligible.
You must have completed your high school education from English Medium School.
You must have scored at least 80% marks in both 10th and 12th grade examinations.
At least 2 years of work experience in a corporate setting in India or abroad is REQUIRED.
You must possess excellent Written and Verbal communication skills in English.
Meet local legal license requirements (In India).
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Ensuring that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted and vetted.
Assisting business in compliance with various legal requirements.
Advising on minimal liability and legal exposure for the business.
Managing external and internal legal resources as required.
Interacting with advocates and supporting them by providing the requisite documents in respect of the company litigation.
Responsible for providing all litigation support to courts for attending hearings etc.
Providing proactive legal assistance and advice to various inter-departments on legal issues like commercial contracts, collaboration agreements.
Supervising, researching and analysing implication of case law, legislation and regulatory matters that affect the company and reporting the same to the Management.
Appearing and representing the company in various courts/forums as an authorized representative.
Providing legal support to the HR function.
No Cab Facility Available.
Fixed Night Shift – 6:30 pm to 5:30 am
Working Days: 4 days (Monday thru Thursday)
Week Off: 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
