Job Description : ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibility will be teaching Dance (from grades Kindergarten to Grade 9) in a progressive manner.This is a part-time position. The total teaching hours per week would be about 10; planning and crew – another 8-10 hours.Responsibilities include: Instilling the love for danceCreating a progressive Dance curriculum across gradesIntegrating dance into a project-based curriculumDeveloping strong one-to-one relations with students and parentsModify teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various studentsMaintain a well-managed classroom and positive learning environmentDocumenting student progress for report cardAdditional responsibilities include: Managing events, both within and outside the schoolSupervise students out of class such as in the hallwaysParticipating in parent outreach / marketing initiativesAdmissions counselingSkills and QualificationsPrior Experience of a minimum 2 years of teaching Dance in a school setting is required.Intense passion for, and rich experience, in Dance.
