Job Description : 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, minimum of 6 years software development experience
Alternatively (no degree) minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures
Proficiency in designing systems and has understanding of micro-service level architecture

Key job responsibilities

As an SDE in AmazonPay team, you will :

Work on Tier-1 Services that for the core of Amazon Pay transaction processing
Participate in the full software development lifecycle
Deal with ambiguity and drive clarity with simple solutions to complex problems.
Solve complex problems and innovate to deliver on commitments.
Drive innovative ideas and process improvements in operational excellence
Help in hiring and developing the best among your juniors and peers.

Proficiency developing in at least one if the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, C# or Python
Linux / UNIX system experience
Knowledge of database system internals
Proficiency in object-oriented design
Hands-on experience with AWS APIs and services
Effective verbal and written communication skills
B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Proficiency in understanding and implementation of design patterns
