Job Description : Job SummarySports Lens is accepting applications to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our production department. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for the day to day creating, editing and delivering of high quality video, broadcast-worthy projects. The Video Editor will use computer editing software programs, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together video components. To ensure success as a Video Editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule.Responsibilities and Duties1. Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video recording and video effects2. Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation3. Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format4. Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videosKey SkillsAdobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe IllustratorRequired Experience and Qualifications1. Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Film Studies, Cinematography or related field.2. Fresher/Previous work experience as a Video Editor.3. Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop.4. Ability to work to a tight schedule and to multitask and work toward various projects simultaneously.5.
