Requirements: Java Backend and DevOps
Senior Software Developer with DevOps Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
5-10 years of relevant experience.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
High level of ownership is required from the candidate.
Strong experience in Java with Spring frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Cloud etc.
Strong experience on RESTful API based Microservice Design and Development.
Should be able to understand the business requirements and any technical limitations, and
document, design, develop and deliver high quality Product Features.
Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS
services like RDS, Lambda, Cloudfront, S3, Beanstalk, SNS, SES etc
Strong experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSql, NoSQL, Hadoop, Elasticsearch,
Redis, Cassandra, and/or Mongo.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash is
desirable.
Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, WorkFront,
Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services.
Strong experience with CI and CD tools such as Jenkins and source control frameworks and
platforms such as GIT and Bitbucket Experience in working with Puppet or Chef for automation and configuration is desirable
Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and
management.
Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones
we should implement.
Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as
needed.
