The Accounting Manager’s work helps to maintain the foundation of the transformational services that our well-paid and supported staff provide for youth and families.This position is responsible for the execution of financial close process and will lead the development of effective accounting policies and procedures in partnership with the Director of Finance and Administration (DOFA) and Staff Accountant (SA). The ideal candidate will be motivated to support a mission and vision dedicated to achieving equity and justice. They will be flexible and creative and help find efficiencies and cost savings so we can reinvest in our people and programs.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:This role will come in contact with students, campers, visitors, vendors and employees. Each of these persons may have visible and invisible qualities that makes that person unique. This includes race, gender, age, sexuality, ability, religion, national origin, gender identity, and other identities.
