MUST HAVES
6 months+ of experience working with audits (not leading audits – just needs to know the process and what is required from multiple departments)
Mid to large size company experience
Understanding of finances and accounting processes (Financial reports, analysis etc.)
NEEDS to be able to take initiative and comfortable not only reaching out to C-Suite employees but also following up if they do not receive the required documentation. Needs to have people skills, but also assertive when needed. C-Suite are busy, and it is not fun pulling documents for audits, so this person needs to be able to follow through when they are being slow.
NICE TO HAVES
Experience in manufacturing industry audits
Familiarity with Workday & NetSuite preferred
FP&A
Experience setting up SOPs and documenting best practices
WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR:
Small company bookkeepers
AP/AR clerks (we can consider if they have AP/AR audit experience)
People without accounting experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ideally we would love someone with 2+ years of experience in a company that would have gone through an audit. We don’t need the person to have run audits, but just to know where documents would be and have the confidence and maturity to request/follow up appropriately. If someone even did a 6+ month internship with an auditor that would be fine too.
