We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP, Capital Planning.
Principal responsibilities:
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Financial and Risk professional qualifications are considered to be an advantage, however significant operational experience (e.g., 8+ years) within Treasury/Capital Planning will also be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
Finance/ treasury/ risk background, with knowledge of accounting, capital requirements and market risk.
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. banking and relevant market/context, i.e. Capital management, Capital reporting, regulatory experience, PRA experience.
Role relevant qualifications, i.e. PQE – Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), ACA, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) would be beneficial.
Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.
Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results.
A broad understanding of financial budgets/statements/models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting.
Requirements
What additional skills will be good to have?
All applicants must have successfully completed their probation period.
Employees must meet performance and behavioural standards as defined in the policy
All L5 applicants should have served at least 24 months and should have successfully completed respective learning curve tenure, in their current role as on closing date.
Applicant should not be on a corrective action plan/ disciplinary action in the last 6 months or any other performance action as on the date of application.

Prepare & finalize Finance Reports, Wdesk Packs and QlikSense Dashboards for consumption during Review and Challenge process for Regulatory and Internal Stress Test exercises
Collaborate with Functional CPOs and become the main contact for Stress Test exercise related queries and issues. This role will be an active contributor to ongoing discussions about the future direction of Report Suite, Wdesk and QlikSense
Provide support to the Strategic Planning & Stress Testing – Reporting leads in execution of Group Management Reporting.
Provide support to the Strategic Planning & Stress Testing – Regional reporting and Group data leads in execution of their work
Interacting with stakeholders across Regional Business Finance teams and Group counterparts regarding future process enhancements, standardization and automation
Conduct review and challenge for all related inputs from regional teams, liaise with core process owners, prepare review and challenge packs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance with relevant work experience
Knowledge of Management Reporting / PRA Stress Test and other regulatory reporting requirements
Knowledge of financial/ risk analysis and reporting
Understanding of Reporting & MI systems
Expertise in QlikSense, Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
Knowledge of Wdesk, QlikView, TM1, etc. will be an added advantage
Proven ability to produce reports from complex factual information
Good communication skills with internal team and business users around the globe
3+ years’ experience developing reports and presentations
