Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to help us scale the revenue and build the brand across various eCommerce websites.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the pricing, revenue and overall promotion of a product category
Foster long term relationships with the marketplace category managers to achieve better product visibility
Make forecasts for product demand and create marketing budget to achieve the same
Keep records of sales, revenue, refund, customer ratings, seller rating etc.
Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
Liaise with marketing teams to determine product positioning and promotional activities of a product category.
Devise innovative growth strategies

Desired candidate profile:

Proven 2-4 years of experience as category manager or similar role
Past experience of scaling revenue for brands on ecommerce platforms like Amazon,Flipkart etc
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
Experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent communication and people skills
