Job Description : HK Global Trading Ltd. is looking for a Controller with retail experience for its office in Doral, FL. Responsibilities range from preparing analytical reports and producing financial forecasts as well as supporting the Accounting Department with a focus on AR/AP and special projects as assigned. A qualified candidate must exhibit and maintain a high level of efficiency and organization while creating a professional and cooperative environment. Must be a CPA.Responsibilities: – Responsible for supervising day-to-day activities of accounts receivable and accounts payable- Must be able to make sound day to day business decisions to ensure smooth workflow in accounting and other departments- Participate in any changes to new software- Ensure that all Company processes are documented and followed- Prepare month-end closing process, bank reconciliations, and financial statements- Process cash, checks, and electronic payments received- Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory accounts- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts- Communicate with employees and department managers regarding payroll and other related reporting.- Research and interpret data as necessary- Assist in budget preparation and lead audits- Perform other duties as assigned.- Flexibility regarding hours assigned to include weekends based on requirements and responsibilities allocated.- Willing to commute between offices, operations, and facilities retained by the company based on overall job responsibilities assigned ongoing.Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in the accounting field or equivalent work experience.- CPA requiredShould be detail-oriented and must have excellent skills with Microsoft Office.- Experience in the retail industry- Experience in heavy accounts payable- Excellent communication & time Management skills required- Candidates should live within, or be willing to relocate to, the Doral, FL area.- Candidates do not have to speak Spanish but it is a plus!Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: From $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Miami, FL 33178: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)Controllers: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Required)Work Location: One location
