Job Description : Our client in Des Moines, IA seeks a hands on Controller to lead and oversee a small accounting team of 5 and Human Resources.You will earn up to $120,000 a year, depending on experience, plus you will enjoy an excellent benefits package including medical, life, dental, vision and more.As Controller some of your responsibilities will include:Lead and direct all general accounting functions.Provide budgeting, financial statements, analysis and reporting.Actively participate in discussions and projects related to organizational growth.Assist 5 branches with any HR issuesAssist with IT issuesHandle benefits, insurance, 401(k)Process weekly payrollThe ideal candidate for this opportunity is a leader willing to wear many hats, with at least 7 years of accounting experience, Human Resources experience and knowledge with IT.
