Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR!Express Employment is seeking an experienced Finance Director professional in the Visalia area.The Finance Director responsible for monitoring overall financial status of company, generating timely financial information, interpreting financial data for the VP of Operations and Senior Vice Presidents, advising them of corrective action needed to maintain fiscal health of the organization, and safeguarding the company’s international assets. Responsible for annual subsidiary budgets, financial reporting, international banking, foreign exchange management and consolidation of subsidiary financial reports. Responsible for internal annual budgets, financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll, retirement fund administration, insurance, banking, treasury, and personnel administration.$120K to $160K a yearFull time – Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm.Direct HireResponsibilities Include: Taking the financial lead for company and its Wholly Owned Subsidiaries.Report financial status of company and its subsidiaries to Board of Directors and Executive team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Manage Treasury and cash flow, including reconciliation of all bank accounts, monitoring daily cash balances and report cash flow to management.Manage and review General Ledger entries, account reconciliations, budget accruals and month-end closing activities.Supervision of the Accounting team, including hiring and training of new staff.Lead internal and subsidiary financial controls and annual audit process.Establish proper business practices and procedures for company and subsidiaries in accordance with ERP capabilities and international regulations.Develop and analyze financial reporting including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Utilize financial models as necessary to demonstrate business performance.Oversee annual budgets for Wholly Owned Subsidiaries and cooperate with Marketing team to prepare annual country budgets for company.Oversee audit and tax functions.Lead the establishment of Key Performance Indicators to measure business success.Perform financial analysis of strategic investment opportunities and provide guidance to Executive team on strategic decisions.Manage international bank accounts and work with managers for bank reconciliations as necessary.Oversee foreign exchange contracts for subsidiaries.Monitor Accounts Receivable, customer accounts and cash receipts.Coordinate regular reconciliation of inventory.Organize insurance contracts and cooperate with insurance vendors.Oversee payroll and coordinate with Human Resources as necessary. Participate on the401K fiduciary committee.Assess and manage risk for the organization.Healthcare + dental + vision benefits (Free for you/discounted for family)401(k)/Matching optionsPaid Vacation and Paid Sick Leave.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required.CPA with strong operational and strategic accounting experience is preferred.Five (5) years’ experience with progressive financial management or analysis. Previous experience in a controller position is preferred.Previous experience in an Agricultural related field, particularly Agribusiness is preferred.Must have strong experience with an ERP or other financial reporting systems.
