The Team!
Lee Enterprises is seeking a junior accountant to join our operational
advertising accounting team. This dedicated team handles advertising
finances for Lee Enterprises publications across the United States. This
position can be remote or in-office.

The Action!
This position is responsible to reconcile and verify billing for
print or digital advertising; calculate commissions for advertising sales in
several markets; perform monthly reconciliation for balance sheet accounts;
ensure adequate audit documentation for both internal and external auditors;
assist with period end financial close; and other duties as assigned.

Are you ready?
Do you have strong organizational skills, effective verbal and
written communication, and MS Windows and Excel experience? Can you work
well in a fast-paced team and highly collaborative environment? If you
have these skills and 2-5 years of experience in an accounting environment with
a focus on general ledger, this may be the role for you! Preference will be giving to candidate with an
associate’s degree in accounting or finance.
