Provide technical leadership for a medium sized (under 20 members) delivery team with responsibility for technical analysis, delivery within an Agile enviroment and technical mentorship of team members.
As an emerging technical expert participate and lead (under supervision) team-based efforts surrounding design, development, deployment and support of software solutions in response to business needs.
What you will bring

Design, build, deploy, coordinate and troubleshoot custom software solutions in response to business needs.
Design, build, deploy, coordinate and troubleshoot integration between Empowers systems, and outside partners/vendors in response to business needs.
Process Accountable for creating, owning and operating the team-specific SDLC lifecycle and process, in-alignment with broader departmental or divisional lifecycle and process.
Provides expert opinion and other inputs in aid of decision-making surrounding optimal Quality Assurance methodologies and solutions.
Based on decisions made, design, deploy, own and operate Quality Assurance methodologies and solutions in support of business needs
Participate in on-call rotation.
Respond-to and resolve complex and/or escalated issues.
Confer with software vendors in the event operational issues require a change from the vendor.
Provide technical support and guidance directly to the team and end users.
Performs complex system and application testing, ensuring delivery meets business needs.
Ensures the team prepares appropriate documentation from which systems and solutions are supported and maintained.

What you will bring

Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
Technical

Expertise and at-least 6 years of experience in Java, Design Patterns and Open-Source Frameworks.
Must have experience with API development (Springboot, springbatch, RESTful APIs)
2 years minimum experience with AWS.
Understanding of Object-oriented analysis, design, and development abilities.
2 years minimum experience with relational databases and PL/SQL
Must have experience with UI development (React /Angular / JQuery, Javascript, HTML, CSS3).
2 years minimum experience supporting reasonably large, project based architectural responsibilities experience.
Technical and/or Agile certifications.
Ability to trouble shoot issues and help developers technically in their day-to-day work.
Ability to design and provide solution for complex projects.
Exposure to Agile Methodologies.
Exposure to production support.
Enthusiasm to work and learn in a team environment.
