Job Description : Applications are invited for requirement of Laboratory Technician for DBT Project entitled: “Establishment of Diagnostic Centre DBT-NIDAN-Kendra at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi” BT/ NIDAN/ 04/05/ 2018. The engagement shall be purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance and requirement.Essential qualificationBachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technician with 02 years’ experience in Genetic labDesirable: Experience of Cytogenetic Techniques- diagnostics/screening.Responsibilities: Receiving, labelling and analysing blood samples.Phlebotomy, conduct screening and diagnostic genetic tests.Age: Up to 30 yearsRemuneration: Rs 20,000/-per month. The remuneration offered is consolidated and fixed without any allowancesOther Terms and conditions: The requirement of Laboratory Technician is on a purely temporary basis till the project lasts. However, engagement can be ended with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the engagement is purely temporary, the incumbents will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or LHMC or for continuation of his/her services in any other project. Benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. is not applicable. Age relaxation for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules are permissible. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
