Job description: SAP Developer FIORI/ABAP

Tenneco, Global Pistons Business unit, are seeking a SAP Developer FIORI/ABAP to support Global SAP instances used in PT Pistons globally.

Objective of this position:

SAP Developer FIORI/ ABAP will primarily focus on the maintenance and enhancements of existing FIORI apps as well as the development of new apps according to business requirements and functional specifications. Will also possess the skills and ability to deliver small to medium size ABAP developments mainly of the back of FIORI apps. Will work closely with SAP Functional consultants in interpreting and understanding of the functional specifications in order to construct the developments supporting business processes.

Position Requirements:

Work in close integration with the other SAP functional team to ensure the integration of the overall solution
Review, analyze and interpret functional specifications provided by functional team in order to provide the most efficient technical solutions.
Deploy SAP standard functionality wherever possible avoiding as much as possible any bespoke development
Create technical documentation to support all changes and to enable further support
Ensure system integrity by following FM approved change management processes
Involved in resolving SAP issues raised via the helpdesk
Ability to adapt communication according to the audience: from pure business to 100% technical and vice versa
Good relationships, ability to work inside a team, even disseminated around the world
Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Available for international travels (up to 20%) to the following countries: US, MX, GER, PL, UK, CN, IN

Required Skills

Personal Characteristics:

Strong analytical skills, enabling to quickly understand the drivers of a business process (sales, purchasing, supply chain, production, etc.)
Capabilities to get consensus, make decision, and confirm the understanding of the process
Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
Candidates should be very organized and have a flexible approach to operate in an international environment
Highly motivated to learn new technologies.

Required Experience
Essential:

Minimum +2 years professional experience on SAP FIORI customizing and app design as well as ABAP programming. This experience should include:
General ABAP skills
SAP Gateway Tier set up
SAP Backend Ties set up
REST and O/Data Services
FIORI Launchpad configuration and development
SAP FIORI Implementation and Development
Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Desirable:

Automotive industry experience
Other European languages is a plus (German, Polish, Spanish)
Working experience in large corporate environment (contact with many cultures, time zones) is a plus

Academic Qualifications:
BSC in Computer Sciences or BA in General Management, Computer Sciences, Mathematics or Economics.
Fluent knowledge of English in speech and in writing
