Your role ensures financial performance through strategic analysis and optimal resource allocation in order to reimagine medicine across 70 countries.
The candidate gets to play a key role in Novartis’ lean digital journey and provide the associate challenging opportunities to work with digital technologies and tools. This role will help us consolidate on the digital investments made and help conduct MBRs based on Qlik Dashboards.
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support direct manager with the operational conversion of the BPA strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business. Works with direct managers to support financial activities, decision making and general projects.Provide analysis or reporting with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance and timeliness of data provided. Ensure ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured and drive early warning for re-direction of resources with Business Partners.Ensure integrity of data provided by commercial teams, and provide value added; provides recommendations on forecast accuracy improvement. Support the improvement and streamlining of existing management reporting processes and the definition and implementation of lean processes.
Coordinate Business Partnering with other areas of the business (FRA, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and other functions) to support on time and accurate information gathering. Supports and improves business case proposals and profitability tracking & the annual budgeting, rolling forecast/Latest outlook and Strategic Planning processes.
Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt. Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable) This opportunity is for a Senior Financial Analyst in the NTO reporting and systems team.
• In this role, the associate will support the Head of Digital Finance, Data & Tools, in reporting and analysis of financials and in supporting data insights focusing on the data consistency and critical analysis of deviations in reported financials. Key Roles & Responsibilities: •Provide IFP reporting systems support during month-end close cycles.

Provide early watch reports and analysis for variations in reported KPIs of NTO Finances. Support source system reconciliation of financial reports in IFP. Provide visualization and reporting support by leveraging Qlikview. Support system and data related innovation initiatives as part of data and digital strategy.
Work on projects related to improvements in reporting system’s performance on ad-hoc basis

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:

Technical knowledge Programming and databases Financial Planning, Forecasting and Benchmarking (P&L/Balance Sheet/ Cashflow)
Chartered Accountant with financial analysis and consulting background with 5 years of experience
Good user level experience of SAP-BPC with basic data modelling and reporting skills.
Basic visualization and dash boarding skills for presenting financial and analytical reports using QlikView
Good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
