Job Description : About the PositionNewrez is looking for a motivated self-starter to join its finance department. Reporting to an Accounting Manager, you will be part of a vibrant, fast paced office environment with exposure to complex financial products and investments in the residential mortgage business.As a Staff Accountant within the Newrez accounting group, you will gain exposure to the technical accounting surrounding the financial products in the portfolio, including RMBS, Mortgage Servicing Rights (“MSRs”) and Residential Mortgage Loans. The position involves accounting for a variety of MSR transactions, including asset sales, acquisitions, fair value analysis, debt facilities, as well as hedging activity.
