Job Description : Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Tax Accountant to work at our client’s financial institution in St Louis, MO location. Position is a contract role that could go permanent for the right candidate.Pay: $28.85 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pmJob ResponsibilitiesDevelops and maintains tax strategies to minimize tax liability.Prepares taxable income projections, financial statements, and specialized accounting reports.Assists with tax return audits and compliance reports.Prepares and develops reports for management or for regulatory authorities.Responds to inquiries regarding tax accounting policies, procedures and problems from bank management, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.Maintains adequate accounting and control for an assigned area.Prepares required disclosure information within designated time frames ensuring compliance with all regulations.Minimum Requirements1 to 3 years of experience with partnership tax return preparation or review in a public accounting firm.Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience.Expected to have strong attention to detail.Effective time management skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.Good data entry and mathematical skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $28.85 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Tax experience: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
