Responsibilities:
The primary functions of this position relate to treasury duties including bank account administration, cash management, issuance, and management of letter of the credit portfolio, requests for certificate of insurance, cash forecasting, and other treasury responsibilities. This role will provide senior management with the level of support and information required for their review purposes.
Supports the management of corporate cash receipts and disbursements, interacts with the business process owners and banks/vendors to obtain required products and services, and supports the company HQ Treasury dept.
Responsible for maintaining the Letter of Credit Portfolio and the Export Letters of Credit.
Supports corporate cash forecasting and working capital initiatives.
Supports Canadian cash management.
Maintains banking relationships with AR and AP providers for Shared Services and other business units in coordination with the HQ Treasury dept.
Implements business systems and processes that meet business requirements and enhance internal controls.
Implements strategic process improvements aimed at effective use of cash assets and maximizing cash flow.
Responsible for daily corporate cash management duties and related software applications.
Acts as a lead on projects and corporate treasury initiatives.
Assists in establishing formal policies and procedures to ensure internal controls are following banking regulations and Sarbanes Oxley.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance/treasury for the Treasury Analyst role; Minimum of 5-10 years of experience for the Senior Treasury Analyst role.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or similar is required.
In-depth knowledge of Treasury/Finance processes is required.
Knowledge of Cash Management Software applications is required.
Basic accounting knowledge is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA is preferred.
CTP certification is preferred.
Experience in a shared services/centralized service cash management environment is preferred.
Treasury Workstation and SAP are preferred.
