Job Description : Role: Invoicing
Designation: Controller Invoicing
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
Invoicing : Managing the invoice raising process including generation and submission of invoices to the customers; custody of price master to ensure it is current and in line with the customer agreements
Automation : Initiating automation of invoicing and spearheading the project to successful completion
Reraise/Resubmission of invoices: Analysing the reasons for re-raise requests and ensuring compliance with GST requirements at the time of re-raise
Exempt invoices: Raising appropriate invoices for GST exempt category customers after seeking all necessary details/documentation
Inter company invoices: Familiarity of inter company invoice raising and posting in AGIS; ensuring customer contracts are upto date
Credit Notes: Issuing credit notes as and when required based on the necessary approvals and complying with the procedures.
GST and other compliances: Issuing invoices with the correct GST information and be able to guide the Customers when queried on GST
Month end revenue confirmation: Confirm revenue for the month including accruals. Explain variation in revenue of the current month with that of the plan, previous month and previous year.
Related analysis: Analyse the credit notes raised during the month and report to CFO/CEO on the nature of expense; Analyse pricing variation (increase as well as reduction) and report the impact information; identify starts for the month and ensure all invoices are appropriately raised; ensure invoices for accrued income of prior months are duly raised and without any delay
Revenue leakage: Ensuring no revenue leakage and all invoices for various services raised within the next 15 days from the end of the month
Invoice data and customer ledger (for reconciliation purposes)
Additionally, the candidate will also be required to step in for collection related entries or invoice raising during the month end or whenever called for; the candidate will also be required to step in to send the invoices to customers through automatic dispatch mode
Qualification:
Fresh Chartered Accountant or with 3 years of post qualification experience or
Candidates who have passed the final examination of ICMA or equivalent or
Graduates with 10 plus years of experience with varied experience in finance especially invoicing
Knowledge of Oracle Financials is preferred. Candidates may be checked during the course of interview on their knowledge in Oracle Financials
Experience in large corporates with MNC background/ audit firms, is desirable
Candidates having good knowledge about various financial legislations is preferred.

good communication and presentation skills;
ability to independently handle various types of audits (both internal and external);
numerical skills and the ability to evaluate costs;
Flair for automation – identifying and automating repetitive tasks, quicker retrieval of data when sought for
