Job Description : Role Overview:
Testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently, Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improved mobile app performance. Updating operating systems, specifically iOS, Android. Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to co-workers when needed. Analyzing requirements, able to understand impact on existing systems and come up with use cases and test cases independently. You will set up test environment including QA servers and maintain it throughout the project. Providing feedback to development teams on technical, troubleshooting, or operational issues. Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the Role:
You will be responsible and accountable for quality of product.
Contribute in software development related activities
Testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently.
Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improved mobile app performance.
Updating operating systems, specifically iOS, Android.
Analyzing requirements, able to understand impact on existing systems and come up with use cases and test cases independently
You will set up test environment including QA servers and maintain it throughout the project
Producing clear and concise test reports and releasing notes to co-workers when needed.
Collaborate with team members to create test cases and test plan from functional specifications
Ensures product quality through continuous integrations and code/test refactoring
Ensure functional requirements are implemented in the code
About You:
Education Qualification- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of software QA experience.
Very good at Test management and defect tracking tools like Jira, QAComplete.
Good teamwork and communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties
Excellent understanding of system level testing, functional, performance, regression, acceptance testing and the SDLC process
Experience in creating QA Test plans in partnership with engineering team and project stakeholders
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
