Job Description : Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a talented, experienced Performance Engineer in Test with solid technical skills and a passion for writing and testing software to drive automated testing of our FX trading platform. In this role, you will take primary responsibility for measuring the performance of any given application/architecture. You will work closely with Quality Assurance Manager to identify bottlenecks in our application/architecture. Position is based out of Hyderabad, India.

What you will be responsible for

As a Automation Engineer in Test, you will

Maintain/Improve existing UI, ServerSide and Integration testing frameworks/scripts.

Strong knowledge on UFT with VBScripting and Selenium with core knowledge.

Should be able to understand and contribute to Python scripts.

Better understanding of Automation Object Model and UFT integrations across various platforms/applications etc.

Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and identify performance tuning areas to assess product quality.

Individual contributor exploring opportunities to improve performance and suggest/articulate the areas of improvements importance/advantages to management.

Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle using CICD tools.

Comfortable working on Linux/Windows environment(s) and Hybrid infrastructure models.

Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.

Peer review to provide feedback and to make sure the test scripts are flaw-less.

These skills will help you succeed in this role

Selenium, Python, qTest and other ServerSide or any automation tools exposure is a plus.

Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services.

Knowledge of current trends and technologies around the performance testing and ability to leverage open source tools

Knowledge of workflow management and distributed systems.

Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges, troubleshooting/debugging and solutions.

Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.

Attention to details.

Self-learning and motivation.
