Job Description : Senior Manager, Business Intelligence manages BI initiatives from conception to completion, providing clients and key stakeholders actionable results and insights that help them achieve their business objectives.
Provide strategic support to Client Delivery Teams and ensure seamless high quality delivery of Reporting solutions. Engage with Client Delivery teams to identify market trends, best practices, and new solutions that should be considered and/or applied. Establish and cultivate a culture of test and learn, continually identifying new ideas with an eye on improving the customer experience and business success metrics.
What you’ll do as a CRM, Senior Manager Business Intelligence
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple client engagements across product based solutions and custom CRM solutions with respect to Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand data structures and business rules, drive demo and discovery
Create data visualization and drive story boarding
Design and develop reports /dashboard and align KPI’s to business objectives
Create/Evaluate project Plans for reporting solutions and monitor Project progress and Delivery quality
Assist in pre-sales and custom BI tool integrations
Conduct client training with use cases mapped to specific business needs
Manage a team of BI developers, which includes providing leadership and mentoring, soliciting, and providing feedback, completing performance appraisals, interviewing, and hiring
Establish standard processes and procedures and promote team collaboration and self-improvements
Drive Knowledge sharing lessons across on new BI tools/ repeatable process/ RDM design and Product Artifacts
Troubleshoot project issues with Delivery Management and engage appropriate resources as needed
Oversee daily operations of the team and ensure utilization targets are met
Direct the team in the development and implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and programs
Manage team structure, workforce planning, career development and training
Manage conflict, balance stakeholder expectations, and navigate and lead associates in a complex cross functional organization to get work done
Collaborate with Cross functional Teams to support Product Development, Org initiatives and Upgrades on existing clients
Qualifications
12+ years of experience as Technical Manager leading Business Intelligence/ Report Datamart Design and warehousing
5+ years of relevant management/leadership experience managing small to medium sized teams
Good understanding of CRM, Marketing concepts and various marketing channels like Direct Mail, Email, Mobile, etc.
4-year Computer Science degree or comparable experience
Hands on Experience with Multiple BI tools ( SAP BO, Tableau, Cognos, MicroStrategy etc.) and BI Solution Architecture
Experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
Accute attention to detail , Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills
Strong analytic thought process and ability to synthesize and interpret findings
Good practical knowledge of Project Management processes and best practices ( both Waterfall and Agile )
Ability to lead a team of BI developers and mentor them through projects and support their career growth
Good collaboration with cross-functional teams and product development team
Ability to lead a team to meet organizational vision and objectives
Ability to work independently and manage communication to all organizational levels
Ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
Ability to effectively navigate and lead a cross functional organization to get work done
Technical skills
Hands on Experience with SAP BO, Tableau
Creation of BO Universe or Report Semantic Layer
BI Solution Architecture
Exposure to other BI tools – Power BI, QlikView, Domo is plus
Experience on Performance Tuning of Reports
Excellent knowledge of relational database technologies with experience on databases such as Oracle, Redshift.
Experience on Dimensional Modelling, Database Design for reporting
Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica / Snaplogic/ SSIS / Matilion etc. ) is a plus
