Job Description : GeneralTo prepare and provide grade-relevant learning activities that enable students to learn the principles of the English language including the rules of grammar and syntax, to develop an understanding and appreciation of literature and to advance students’ verbal and written communication abilitiesJob Duties and Responsibilitiesplan and prepare lesson plans that meet core objectives and principles and are in line with the curriculum goalsprepare instructional aids and supplemental teaching materials and resources consistent with learning objectives and student needsselect and requisition appropriate books, instructional aids and school supplies as neededdeliver lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional techniques that are appropriate to the academic level and meet the diverse needs of studentsmaximize the appropriate use of technology in the classroom as an instructional toolteach grammar and syntax, vocabulary and word usage and other principles of the English languagepromote students’ understanding of and appreciation for literaturedevelop students’ verbal skills including reading out loud, discussion and debatedevelop students’ writing skillsencourage the development of critical thinking skillscreate a safe and flexible classroom environment conducive to optimal student learninghelp students to work independently and collaboratively in groupsestablish and maintain standards of student behavior that conform to School and District policies and promote learning in the classroomencourage student responsibility, cooperation, tolerance and mutual respect in a manner consistent with School and District policies and proceduresestablish and monitor appropriate behavior of students in extra-curricular activitiestrack and monitor student learning using a variety of techniquesprepare and administer assessments that are curriculum-alignedgrade assessments and assignmentskeep current with district and state standardized testing and maximize student achievement on these testsadminister standardized tests in accordance with district testing programsmonitor performance and progress and modify instructional methods to meet individual needs where necessaryfoster good working relationships with students, teachers, counselors, administrators and other stakeholders to support the development and well being of the studentskeep parents or guardians informed of students’ academic progress and social and behavioral issuescoordinate parent/teacher conferences to review students’ progressmaintain accurate and complete student records including attendance, grades, assessments and test scores as required by district and school procedures and regulationsparticipate in staff meetings and training sessionsundertake professional development activities to ensure continued professional growth and development of teaching skillsJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹45,000.00 – ₹50,000.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftMorning shiftSpeak with the employer+91-XXXXXXXXXX
