INTERMEDIATE TECHNICAL WRITER
Ideal Candidate
Candidates with 3-7 years of experience in technical writing.
Qualifications
Degree in any discipline, preferably, information science or computer applications
Excellent command over the English language
Complete knowledge of technical writing practices
In depth knowledge of technical concepts and terminologies
Knowledge of content and video authoring tools will be an added advantage
Awareness of the processes involved in working in the Scaled Agile Framework
Job role and responsibilities
Work in a Scaled Agile Framework to collaborate with product experts on product documentation
Interact with product RnD teams to gather information about product components and features
Organize and document technical data in a well-structured, comprehensible, and logical manner
Interact with other information experts on the team to validate that the written content is clear, concise, and accurate
Install, upgrade, and integrate the product as per the documentation
Work on incorporating technical and content-related feedback received from product and content SMEs
Test the documentation against the product functionality to achieve zero technical error in content
Create videos and other interactive elements to improve the usability of the documentation
Publish and maintain product content on the documentation portal
Train other IEs on the product features that they have authored: What, When, How, Why
Respond to queries from cross-functional teams based on available content
