You will help define the next generation experience for Citrix Workspace app on mobile platforms and modernize tech stack. Position Overview
The position is an advanced software engineer who designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots and debugs complex software applications, with increased responsibility for leadership and direction of others. The role recognized as a specialist in multiple fields, advises on design and development approach, and often acts as a Tech Lead working on complex projects and issues where analysis of situations or data requires both broad and in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The role also exercises top-tier judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for acquiring results. We are looking for people who have ideally got experience in working with customers when needed and who can get on calls and understand problems and fix them. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment.
Role Responsibilities

You will be working on Citrix Workspace App team delivering product value to our ~100M+ user base.

Design and develop libraries & SDKs for multiple mobile platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency

Mentor junior engineers & prepare them to take higher responsibilities

Focus on innovation, patents and in defining the future roadmap of the product.

Provide guidance to improve automation, performance, unit-test code for robustness, edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Work on complex customer escalations & defect fixes.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Embrace Agile development methodologies ( SAFE ,SCRUM etc.).

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with minimum of 8+ years of hands on development experience.

Proficiency in software development using C/C++

Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms and OS

Experience with performance and memory tuning of complex Apps

Hands on experience in Multi-threaded programming

Good knowledge of networking concepts

Experience of accessing data as JSON/ XML using REST APIs.

Expertise in crash dump analysis.

Knowledge of Android/Kotlin or iOS/Objective-C is a plus

Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)

Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
