Position : Adjunct Instructor
Job Description : Adjunct Instructor (Part-time) onsiteSimilar job titles: Teacher, IT Instructor, Computer Instructor, Comptia Certification Instructor, Professor, and or Technology teacher.What you will be doing:
Adhere and meet all established MyComputerCareer guidelines and standards for campus/hybrid learning.
Attend initial and ongoing professional development for Instructors.
Effectively communicate needs related to curriculum and training.
Manage the planning, preparation, and delivery of instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences; in conjunction with material and resources provided by curriculum specialists.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Answer student questions concisely and accurately related to the content field.
Use relevant technology to support instruction and aid in the monitoring of students in the use of learning materials.
Observe and evaluate student’s performance and provide ongoing encouragement towards the progress of students.
Coach students one-on-one for academic success through the providing of appropriate feedback as necessary.
Report statistical progress on a regular basis on student progress throughout the course.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and needs.
***Qualifications needed: *
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field; or a combination of education and work experience.
A minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in the IT industry (within the last 10 years) is preferred.
Candidates with a different combination of technical training experience and practical work experience will be considered.
