Must have knowledge of different types of insurance and be detailed oriented. Compassion for people are essential for success in this position. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
*Gather, review and enter patient information and insurance into the system
Review registration materials with patients and collect consent for treatment
Processes a high volume of transactions with accuracy
Register and direct patients to appropriate departments
Collect and enter co-pays and deductibles
Balance payments received nightly
Manage difficult or emotional patient situations
