Job Description : The Self-Park Attendant ensures the safe and efficient flow of ingress and egress traffic, and provides quality guest service in directing guests through the parking facility.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Warmly greet guests as they arrive in the parking garage.
Direct incoming guests to levels with available parking spaces.
Provide high quality guest service in answering questions and providing directions.
Assist in reaching resolution to guest complaints (with the aid of a Supervisor or Manager if necessary).
Communicates with the Command Center any irregularities or discrepancies.
Control ingress and egress of traffic at the point position on the Main Drive and in other positions as needed.
Control the flow of traffic with ride share vehicles as the North Wall.
Monitor operation of inbound and outbound gates of the self-park garage.
Assist guest with inquiries on operation of Pay on Foot machines.
Assist Valet Parking Attendants as necessary.
Assists in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any other tasks that may be directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
Report any known accidents, observed violation of company policy, safety hazards, and any other irregularities to the Supervisor or Manager.
Have a thorough knowledge of parking structure, property, and city to best assist guest with directions.
Drive company vehicles as necessary.
Maintain a clean DMV record.
Provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report to the department leader and Risk Management every 6 months
Immediately notify department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver’s License status.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

At least six months customer service experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
At least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook and valet parking software.

Work is performed in a garage environment.
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests.
Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
Bending and reaching.
Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Eye/hand coordination.
Use of standard office equipment.
Basic math.
Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs.
Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
