Job Description : Quality Medical Imaging, a state-of-the-art provider of Digital X-rays and Ultrasounds is currently hiring. We have been in business since 2001 and are looking for talented people to join our team! We are currently recruiting for a full time Clinical Intake Specialist.
The Clinical Intake Specialists are responsible for monitoring exam requests from start to finish. This is done by submitting physician orders while ensuring the needs of the facilities and the ordering physician are being met. Job Responsibilities

Professionally communicates with physicians and nurses in the coordination of patient care.
Assigns and manages daily orders in a timely fashion to ensure required turnaround time.
Attention to detail with data entry, ensuring correct information is recorded for the patient.
Verifies insurance eligibility for orders.
Sends images to the appropriate teleradiology group based on facility needs.
Communicates with patient and facility concerning rescheduling of exams or delays.
Answers multi-line telephone and provides information in a professional manner.
Ensures that routine and stat exams are processed in the designated timeframe with appropriate facilities/physicians.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

The qualified candidate will have:

Previous customer service experience, preferably in the medical field.
Will be familiar with X-ray and ultrasound verbiage and terms.
Excellent computer skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Be a team player.

Pay: $14.00 – $16.50 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:Covid-19 precautions are in place.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $16.50 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
