Job Description : We are currently seeking candidates for a DIRECTOR ESS CREDIT position in our Enterprise Shared Service team, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Credit department provides two essential services: (1) process casino credit applications and credit approval decision process, (2) maintain active credit accounts to ensure access to credit is available to the customer

DIRECTLY SUPERVISES (PLEASE LIST POSITION TITLES): Managers ESS Credit

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

Provide leadership and vision – identify the optimum credit & collections model that achieves efficiency goals and maintains speed and quality of service and lead the team to achieve that objective
Manage change – develop transition planning for consolidation to a shared service function, manage implementation tasks and coordination with internal property customers
Drive innovation – develop and implement process changes that improve the credit research and decision process and implements closed loop analysis of decision criteria and decision performance
Implement automation – develop new tools that transition work effort from data gathering to decision making
Implement continuous improvement – develop processes that balance risk and credit volume – implement regular evaluation of credit decision criteria that drive the credit approval decision.
Improve customer service – develop the credit team to be customer service driven. Implement speed of service goals and measurement, implement regular review of customer service performance, implement training that improves the quality of customer interactions
Team development – develop a cohesive credit team, maintain moral during periods of change, promote employee engagement and programs to improve job satisfaction.
Other duties are assigned as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

10+ years experience in casino industry experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.

Proven success leading teams and professional employees.
Knowledge of Property operations and casino systems, Caesars experience preferred
Must possess highly developed analytical skills and the ability to think creatively about ways to improve casino operations and other casino related businesses.
Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously at various stages of development.
Must be technically skilled and have and have experience using data analysis tools.
Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to co-workers and clients.
Good writing and communication skills, able to comfortably communicate at all levels of the organization.
Ability to read and understand financial statements, department P & Ls and business reporting.
Must be able to qualify for a gaming license in multiple jurisdictions the credit department supports.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
