Job Description:
Allivet is seeking a highly driven Human Resources Coordinator to join our fast-growing team. This position will be the human resources representative working onsite from our office in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position will be assisting with the day-to-day HR administrative functions and support. The ideal candidate has excellent understanding of compliance, administration, recruiting, and onboarding. This person must be self-driven, work well independently, and have excellent communication skills. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
Assist in HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist in identifying and preventing possible sources of conflict and maintaining an excellent work environment.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain agendas.
Assist with employee engagement efforts- holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, appreciation days, etc.
Conduct first-day orientations
Assist with adhoc HR projects.
Recruitment:
Consult with company managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
Coordinate training sessions and seminars.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
Excellent organizational skills.
Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, OSHA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required
2 years of human resources experience
4 years of administrative experience
