Position : Journeyman Laborer

Job Description : DH Construction is an insurance-related reconstruction business for residential and commercial properties, specializing in large-loss claims. We offer top pay and the best benefits package in the local construction industry.
We are looking for a Journeyman Construction Laborer with at least 5 years of experience in the Reno area.
You must be authorized to work in the United States.
DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

Minimum of 5 years laborer experience
Perform general construction labor, including job site clean-up.
Move various construction materials, both by hand and utilizing various material transport mechanisms.
Engage in preparation work to ready worksite for journeyman employees (carpenters, form setters, finishers, etc.) to perform defined tasks.
Monitor processes, materials, and/or surroundings.
Perform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Work with buckets and pump truck to place concrete
Clean, inspect and perform routine maintenance of equipment and tools
Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools
Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards*

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have a clean driving record with the DMV
Must have a truck and your own tools
Must be courteous and have the ability to communicate well with customers
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Positive attitude where you don’t get rattled easily and don’t mind taking on challenging projects with the goal of exceeding the customer’s expectations
Dependable, punctual and clean/neat appearance
High level of integrity as well as desire to learn and grow with the team

These responsibilities and requirements are representative of certain key functions, but may be modified and other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business.
About DH Construction: Insurance repairs and remodeling residential single and multi-family dwellings and light commercial buildings. We repair all aspects of damage caused by calamities, such as fire, water, vehicle intrusion, etc.
