Job Description : SUMMARY:
· Location: Minden, NV
· Experience: 4+ years Operations Management/Quickbooks Bookkeeping
· Commitment: Full-time, 32-40 hours/week, 9am-5pm M-F
· Compensation: $25/hr.
Synergy Wetsuits (www.synergywetsuits.com), a triathlon wetsuit, apparel and accessories company based in Minden, NV USA is seeking a full time, experienced and professional Office Manager/Bookkeeper with e-commerce experience.
Successful candidate will manage and oversee a wide range of tasks critical to the day to day operations of the company. This position requires absolutely reliable attendance, dependability and trustworthiness. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a great attitude, and can consistently perform at the highest level with minimal supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day office management. In addition, this role will manage/oversee the company’s accounting cycle, processes and procedures to stay financially compliant. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, understanding and experience with accounting and finance for small business, Microsoft Excel, data manipulation, and a strong ability to communicate financial information.
You must be able to pass a criminal background check. Drug testing and work eligibility (E-Verify) verifications are required and references will be checked.
MUST HAVES:
· 4+ years of Operations Management/Bookkeeping experience.
· Complete understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
· Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise (Wholesale and Manufacturing preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
· Strong desire to learn and educate about company products/technology.
· Must have strong communication skills. This includes the ability to write and speak clearly in a variety of settings to deliver a clear message in all deliverables.
· Ability to create and improve processes. Must be a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, analytical ability, and strategic planning.
· Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, with customers, peers, and management.
NICE TO HAVES:
· Amazon bookkeeping experience.
· A passion for and participation in the sports we serve.
· Intimate knowledge of triathlon, competitive swimming and/or sporting goods industry is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage/oversee day-to-day office operations and procedures.
· Assist in order fulfillment as needed.
· Onboard new hires.
· Serve as the point person for office manager duties including: maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping.
· Oversee the general accounting function, recordkeeping and reporting systems which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, and balance sheet management.
· Responsible for month-end closing and year-end closing including posting journal entries, reconciliation of account balances and general ledger accounts, and distributing 1099 forms.
· Prepare monthly/quarterly sales tax returns, as well as operation and business taxes.
· File VAT returns.
· Ensure that company financial records, under responsibility, are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP. Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance.
· Improve and implement accounting procedures and practices for efficiency and improved financial growth.
· Complete all reports and records required and submit on a timely basis.
