Position : Production Supervisor

Job Description : The Production Supervisor oversees all day-to-day operations in the manufacturing area. This position is responsible for leading the production teams in the completion of all manufacturing processes in a safe, efficient and accurate manner. The Supervisor’s responsibilities range from daily production activities, employee scheduling, quality, and maintaining performance standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Trains and manages production employees.
Oversees the daily workflow and assignments.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervises and coordinates activities throughout the facility including production, shipping, maintenance, inventory control.
Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
Troubleshoots or problem solves issues that arise.
Works with Plant Manager, Operations Manager and Engineering Department in the event of equipment problems.
Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with Management and all departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of assembly and warehouse practices.
Ensures paperwork is completed correctly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to traverse the production facility.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
