About the Team
Software QA Engineer: Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
About the Role
QA Engineer within Business Technology Go-To-Market Platform Team is responsible for the testing of projects on Salesforce Platform and it’s ecosystem. The role requires someone with good analytical , reasoning skills to develop test cases / scripts using Agile methodologies with specific emphasis on Salesforce Force.com platform projects. This individual can work in a fast-paced fun environment, who is detailed oriented, and a problem solver. You should enjoy a team setting where your success depends heavily on the success of project teams and the organization.
Responsibilities
Manual & Automated Testing
Develop test plans and scripts. Ensure test scripts and activities meet business requirements
Analyze test results and report any defects bugs errors configuration issues and interoperability flaws.
Ensure that all issues that are subsequently resolved are then re-tested for resolution.
Execute functional test cases based on test plan
Comprehensive testing and tracking of issues in release(s)
Identify and communicate high-risk areas to development team.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in AEM quality assurance, AEM Content authoring and test automation.
Work closely with the business team and technical team.
Creating Author guides for AEM components and site functionality.
Perform all types of manual testing (functional, exploratory, regression, smoke tests, integration tests) across common web browsers and devices.
Experience in automated test scripts for functional and integration testing.
Experience in maintaining test frameworks and tools using Selenium.
Browsertrack knowledge added advantage.
