Job Description : PRODUCT MANAGER

Hours: Full-time, 40+ hours per week
Location: Beddy’s offices; 6079 W. 9790 S. West Jordan Utah 84081
Pay: Dependent upon experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Find and research opportunities to disrupt product categories
Develop products through insights from market research and customer buying behavior
Define the key features, specifications and requirements of the product based on customer preferences
Establish strategies for product pricing and positioning
Assist with product launches and marketing campaigns
Conduct competitor research to learn more about customers’ needs
Perform profit analysis and forecasting to develop or improve product marketing strategies
Work with Product Specialist to maintain project timelines and implementation schedules
Communicate development directly with overseas vendors and internal team
Receive, test, and approve all product samples to ensure they meet the original direction and tech pack specification
Review all tech packs for accuracy and completion
Obtain product requests for quotes/proposals and identify areas where cost savings can be achieved without sacrificing quality
Order, compile, and approve all product testing ensuring all products developed are of the highest quality possible
Research market intelligence and competitor offerings
Setup of new products in ecommerce setting
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team setting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is a necessity
QUALIFICATIONS
Hustle and exceptional work ethic are a must
5 years consumer Product Management experience, including creating product strategy, planning product lifecycles, determining pricing strategies, and managing product development
5 years consumer product development experience, including working directly with manufacturers and quality assurance
Experience conducting customer and product research and creating surveys
Understanding of manufacturing, production efficiency and quality
Creative mindset with an eye for interior design
Detail oriented and well organized
Analytical reasoning skill
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong visualization and mock-up skills
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
Ability to work independently and be proactive
Exceptional Excels skills are a must
Must pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue test
