Position : REMOTE – Enterprise Risk Manager
Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is currently seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to join a financial services client in Salt Lake City, UT. This position is able to sit fully remote across the US. In this role, you will be responsible for interacting with 3 different technology groups to assess the risk of the environment, analyze the risk maturity level, determine acceptance levels and request exceptions when necessary, and present reports to upper leadership, including the CTO and CISO. You will be responsible for ensuring the processes are being followed and enhancing them to mitigate risk levels. You will be in regular meetings with upper leadership that will require you to provide the needed push-back at times to ensure risk is being accounted for correctly. This is an established team of 4 individuals that you will be joining within a Fortune 1000 client.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS5+ years of experience working in Enterprise Risk ManagementExperience presenting Risk Report findings to and working with C-Level Executives and Sr. LeadershipExperience in a highly regulated industry: Banking, Federal, InsuranceExperience working within operational riskUnderstanding of: Risk Appetite, Risk Profiles, Risk Escalation, Risk Reporting, Targets, Limits, Charters, Governance Documents, Governance Group StructureExperience analyzing risk maturity levels
Experience working with Exceptions and Acceptance levels when Risk Maturity levels are not equivalent to target maturity levelsExperience coordinating with the OCC
DESIRED SKILLSUnderstanding of COBIT
Previous experience in a large Bank
