Position : Reputation Management Specialist
Job Description : Equivalent Experience
Candidates must be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with an active Temple Recommend or the ability to quickly obtain one.
Description:
The candidate chosen for this project will help the Church organize the Google My business account to help verify 19,000+ Church meeting houses. This person will organize data for local church leadership synced into Yext. They will also assist with helping local church leaders to succeed in local listings through trainings and other aspects.
This position will be a 12-24 month project working with the church.
1. Manage Rollout of Ratings and Reviews for Church Meetinghouses
a. Work with Yext, Missionary, Podium and Area Comms Directors to train local reps on how to solicit, manage, respond to, track and report ratings and reviews of local Chapels
b. Communicate with and track the experience of local representatives managing reviews
c. Report regularly on learnings, successes, and adjustments for reviews strategy
d. Manage the bulk claim and Google verification for all Church Meetinghouses, Temples and other locations.
2. Manage the Reputation YouTube Strategy
a. Work with PSD and CRD on analytics (track what terms re: the Church are searched)
b. Identify gaps (high-search volume terms for which there is no or low content)
c. Work internally with departments to fill gaps
d. Work externally with partners (MoreGood Foundation, Fair, etc) to fill gaps
3. Lead the Emerging Issues Working Group/JIC
a. Create and lead a cross-department group of those involved in emerging topics
b. Coordinate with Priesthood and Family, Church History, Correlation, CCD, and others to ensure there are clear owners and strategies for key topics
c. Lead monthly or bi-monthly meetings with cross-department staff
d. Work with external partners to address gaps in issues (where content does not exist)
e. Work with the PSD Analytics team on a proactive, organized Joint Information Center
4. Help to Develop Reputation-Positive Stories
a. Work with Newsroom, departments and partners to develop positive content
b. Work with Church-Friendly Organizations on positive content strategies and tactics

1. A Degree in a Marketing OR Business Field and/or 3-5 years of experience will be considered.
