Job Description : CALA is a new restaurant experience with a modern take on coastal vibes and we arelooking for a professional and highly driven/motivated Assistant General Manager to help lead all aspects of business at our Scottsdale location. With plans to open locations in other states, we would like to fill this role with someone who wants to grow with us. The AGM will be the face of CALA and oversee all restaurant operations in order to ensure profitable sales, and the highest quality customer service.

Requirements:
At least 5 years of mid to fine dining experience- corporate work is a plus!
A passion for service and experience
The ability to enforce and uphold current steps of service, while also having the skills and background to implement NEW and improved steps of service
Experience in events, worked in hotels, or any other form of hospitality is a plus
Willing to put themselves out there to upsell what we offer. From private events, and birthday parties with bottle service- we can do it all!
A proven track record in sales, coaching, staffing and training- hiring and firing experience also a plus.
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
Flexible in terms of working hours
Must be open to travel
Basic business math and accounting skills
Aspirations to grow with a company
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Your Responsibilities:
Engage with customers, clients, and staff- we want someone who is a major people person
Ensure guests are happy and taken care of at all times
Work well individually and in team settings
Visionary and inspirational with managers and employees
Oversees the operations of the restaurant, working to maximize profitability while upholding the company’s mission, values, policies, quality and guest experience standards
Works the floor actively, applying a hands-on approach, unafraid to get hands dirty
Hires, assigns, trains, motivates, evaluates and assists in terminating team members as necessary
Provides in-the-moment coaching and feedback to team members, actively facilitating their growth- you must have a passion for service in all areas of the job
Manages inventory levels and replenishes goods and operating materials
Strong leadership skills with the ability to instill a culture of excellence and inspire confidence throughout the restaurant staff.
Maintains a high level of hospitality towards guests as well as within the team
Ensure that all of the employees are trained on Steps-of-Service to a level of excellence.
Supervise and mentor employees and assists managers with all daily tasks.
Responsible for forecasting and budgeting- while helping control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
