Job Description : Business Systems Analyst
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking a business systems analyst to join our Information Technology Department for the nation’s largest medical imaging and radiation therapy association. This person will serve as a liaison between the software development team and business stakeholders to help plan, design, develop, test and launch efficient business systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This role is highly collaborative and takes a proactive approach to improve business processes, user experience, data quality and information availability. The analyst catalogs defects and works with the IT development team on resolutions. In addition, the individual must maintain open dialog with key stakeholders using a variety of communication channels.
Responsibilities:

Participates in discussions to gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects and systems requirements.
Consults with users to identify current procedures and clarify objectives.
Review functional and design specifications to make sure all parties understand the expectations required for final deliverables.
Resolve user requests according to business needs and priorities.
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design a test coverage plan in collaboration with test engineer.
Conduct and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members and product owners.
Identify any quality issues per defined processes and escalate potential issues to management.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Work with the stakeholders to determine their reporting and data needs.
Deliver business data in the most efficient medium as defined by industry standards and the direction of IT management.

Successful Candidates Meet the Following Criteria:

Three to five years of experience as a business systems analyst preferred.
Associate degree up to master’s degree in computer science, communications, other technology-related fields or equivalent experience.
IIBA, ABPMP, PMP certifications preferred.
SSMS, SQL, Oracle database or reporting experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively with the IT team and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of computer systems and CRM functionality.
Customer service skills to support our association membership.
Ability to work remote and onsite as needed. Must reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make quick decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
