Job Description : Description
The Corporate Controller is responsible for the direct supervision of all accounting and finance responsibilities for the organization including maintaining strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy of general ledger, overseeing payroll, financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed assets, budgeting, tax and audit, policy and procedure development, and cash management.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Manages all accounting operations and accounting department staff including the selection, orientating, training, coaching, counseling and disciplining of staff members
· Develops and maintains systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization
· Responsible for reconciliations including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and revenue and cash collection accounts
· Facilitates the month-end and year-end close process
· Manages the payroll process and ad-hoc reporting and reconciliations
· Monitors banking activities and ensures adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs
· Prepares and publishes timely daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packages for management and the Board
· Coordinates and assists in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
· Responsible for financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting
· Manages and complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
· Oversees the coordination and activities of independent auditors and the preparation of the annual financial statement is in accordance with U.S. GAAP
· Research technical accounting issues for compliance
· Special projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required
· 8 years’ experience in Finance / Accounting field
· 5 years’ experience as a Financial Controller or Accounting Manager required
· 5 years’ Health care experience (preferred)
· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures required
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Advanced Excel skills
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
